New “BeachBody. Not Sorry.” Campaign by Swimsuitsforall Features Untouched Images of Plus-Size Model Denise Bidot
Posted on June 24 2015
Typically we see models in campaigns, editorials and advertising looking perfectly flawless- with no unwanted rolls or cellulite to be seen. However, this is the result of the photoshopped and retouched images of the models which gives us the perception of the models with flawless bodies (granted not all, as there are people out there with perfect bodies).
One retailer – Swimsuitsforall or S4A, has launched a campaign which features plus-size model Denise Bidot in her natural beauty, meaning the images have not been retouched. The aim is to show that beauty does not need to be photoshopped. The “Beach Body. Not Sorry” campaign aims to show women that they can feel sexy on the beach by just being themselves. The campaign features plus size model Denise Bidot who poses in an array of images wearing swimsuits from the S4A collection as well as two videos.
Their short but powerful tagline “Be unapologetically you” is right on time with many plus size women more than ever embracing their bodies, wearing swimwear and wearing it with confidence.
What do you think of the S4A campaign? We are excited to hear what you think - leave a comment below….
